Award-Winning Theatre Company Illyria Brings Outdoor Magic to Lincolnshire This Summer

Get ready for an unforgettable summer of laughter, drama and fresh air as award-winning theatre company Illyria brings not one, but two open-air performances to the Lincolnshire Showground this July and August.
Known for their fast-paced, funny, and brilliantly staged productions, Illyria has captivated over a million people across the UK and beyond over the past 30 years. Now, Lincolnshire audiences can experience the magic for themselves.
“Outdoor theatre is a joyous, less formal way to experience live performance—good company, good food and a glass of something bubbly, all under the open sky,” says Artistic Director Oliver Gray.
“There’s something beautifully unifying about actors performing and audiences watching, all together beneath the same sky.”
The Lincolnshire Showground will host two spellbinding shows this summer:
Pride and Prejudice – Saturday 5th July
Jane Austen’s iconic romantic comedy of manners comes to life in Illyria’s signature style—sharp, witty, and wildly entertaining.
The Wind in the Willows – Saturday 2nd August
A heartwarming tale of friendship, adventure and mischief as Mole, Ratty, Toad, and Badger take to the stage in this delightful adaptation of the children’s classic.
