Andrew Buckley
Chair of the LAS since 2022 and Director of Lockwood Estates Ltd, Andrew runs his own arable farm with a livestock enterprise. With a strong background in both crop and cattle farming, he brings hands-on experience and leadership to the agricultural community.

Andrew Read
Now in his seventh year as a Show Director, he previously served as Chief Livestock Steward and brings deep-rooted farming experience. He manages the Somersby Estate and runs his own mixed farming enterprise, continuing a family tradition spanning generations in arable, sheep, and haulage.

Pete Harrison
A Chartered Accountant with over 30 years’ experience, specialising in the agricultural sector and was formerly Managing Director of Wright Vigar. Raised on a Northamptonshire farm, Pete retired in 2024 after a distinguished career in practice.

A South Lincolnshire farmer with a degree in Agricultural Economics from Newcastle University and over 30 years’ experience growing combinable crops and sugar beet. Ben chairs the NFU Bourne Branch and runs a family farming business with his wife Heather, also offering B&B and meeting facilities.

Fred Wallis
Known to most as Fred, he has farmed at Biscathorpe for 37 years in partnership with his brother, son, and nephew. A long-time Lincolnshire Show steward since 1986, he now serves as Health & Safety Steward and brings valuable show experience to the board as a Society Council Member and Trustee.

Graeme Beattie
With over 40 years’ experience in Lincolnshire’s food industry, including senior roles at Branston Ltd as Managing Director and Non-Executive Director. Graeme is also a Non-Executive Director at DEA Aviation and a Trustee of the International Bomber Command Centre in Lincoln.

James Matthews
A former farmer turned events professional, James studied Agriculture at the Royal Agricultural College before spending over a decade on the family farm and stewarding livestock. Now 25 years with Henson Franklyn, he also serves as Chief Steward and Trustee of the LAS, proudly promoting the Showground where he recently married his wife Veronica.

Kath Phillips
A Chartered Surveyor since 1996, Kath comes from a farming family in East Yorkshire and has over 25 years' experience as a rural surveyor. Now with Perkins, George Mawer & Co., she specialises in rent reviews, valuations, and land agency.

Robert Nelstrop
A fourth-generation farmer based in Branston, growing cereals and root crops across various land agreements. After studying Rural Estate Management at Cirencester and a period working for the NFU, he returned to the family farm in the mid-1990s. With the next generation keen to be involved in the farm, Robert is focused on succession planning while enjoying country sports and travel with his wife, Sarah.

A graduate in Agriculture from Aberdeen University, Stuart has 39 years’ experience in red meat, poultry, and ready meals production. Former CEO of Woldmarsh Producers Ltd, he now chairs APA Ltd, uniting the UK’s top agricultural buying groups to benefit farmers.
