Growing Together: Lincolnshire Farming Conference 2027
Calls on the Industry to Connect, Collaborate and Act
Registration is now open for farmers, producers and industry leaders ready to connect, collaborate and turn fresh ideas into action
The Lincolnshire Farming Conference returns to the EPIC Centre at Lincolnshire Showground on Thursday 11th February 2027, bringing farmers, producers, advisers, suppliers and industry leaders together for a high-energy day of bold ideas, practical insight and valuable connections.
Organised by the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society (LAS), the event will bring people from across agriculture together to exchange experiences, tackle shared challenges and identify practical opportunities to move the industry forward.
Under the 2027 theme, ‘Growing Together’, an exciting programme of expert speakers and workshops will put collaboration across the food and farming supply chain centre stage. Delegates will explore how stronger partnerships, fresh thinking and shared knowledge can unlock new opportunities and build a more resilient future for agriculture.
Changes to this year’s conference include new cabaret-style seating, designed to encourage more conversation and collaboration throughout the day. A new breakfast workshop, When Two Become One: Working Together for the Future of Farming, will be delivered by Brown & Co, Shakespeare Martineau and Streets Chartered Accountants, with breakfast included. Pre-booking is required. The programme will also feature two additional workshops: The Pig and Poultry Livestock Business Workshop and The Great British Solar Harvest – Too Good to Be True?

Lincolnshire Farming Conference Chair and LAS Trustee Robert Nelstrop said:
“The Lincolnshire Farming Conference continues to be an important event in the farming calendar. This year, we have some fantastic speakers lined up, including Colin Chappell, who was recently named Environmental Champion of the Year; Dr Amy Jackson from Oxtale; Steve Barker from Dyson Farming; Sue Pritchard from the Food, Farming and Countryside Commission; and our keynote speaker, Professor Tim Lang, Professor Emeritus of Food Policy.
“With many sectors of the industry facing significant challenges, we will hear from an inspiring line-up of speakers on the theme of ‘Growing Together’
“In addition to global and national food policy, we will explore collaborative projects, relationships with end customers, public perceptions of agriculture and the experiences of local producers.
“It is a period of huge challenge, but with that comes opportunity. I am pleased to chair a conference that will inspire and kick-start an exciting 2027."
Delegates will gain thought-provoking insights into the future of food production, agricultural policy, market trends and consumer expectations. They will also have opportunities to build new contacts, exchange knowledge and leave with practical ideas they can put into action.

Register now to secure your place. Tickets are £35 per person, £20 for students and free for members of the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society. Demand is expected to be high, so book early at www.lincolnshireshowground.co.uk/farming-conference.
