Our 270 acres of multifunctional space is based just four miles north of Lincoln city centre.
We're proud to have gained a reputation for both organising and hosting outstanding events.
The Lincolnshire Showground is owned by the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, a registered charity since 1869.

LAS Schools' Challenge
Organised by the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, Schools' Challenge is open to nursery, primary, secondary and special schools in Greater Lincolnshire. Schools are invited to the Lincolnshire Show to showcase their submission.
We also welcome clubs, groups and external associations.
There are ten challenges to choose from and their focus is on inspiring young people to gain a better understanding of Lincolnshire's rich agricultural history

Grants funding and our community
Sheila Trafford passed away on 5th January 2015 and probate was granted on 1st February 2016. Sheila’s wish was that the farm should be used “for the support and education of young people in agriculture”.
A total of over £180,000 has been spent thus far on bringing the house and farm up to a better standard.
As a result of the letting of both the house and the land, the LAS receives an appreciable rental income.
The Lincolnshire Agricultural Society is proud of its County and hence we are keen to support local residents and organisations with grant funding.
