Becoming a Member of the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society (LAS) means you will receive exclusive benefits for events, networking opportunities, receive local discounts, opportunities for professional development and so much more. You will also be supporting our mission of supporting food, farming and the countryside, bringing our initiatives to life, such as LAS Schools’ Challenge and our Young Professionals Group.
The LAS was originally established in 1869 to support agricultural improvements and provide a platform for farmers to showcase livestock, crops and machinery, however due to innovation, change in technologies and education the Society has expanded to something so much more, leveraging our communities and businesses, whilst still being true to our core mission of supporting agriculture.
Most recently, the LAS has supported Lincoln Food Bank by donating a substantial amount of food and other essentials on Lincolnshire Day to help support the local community and to highlight the importance of celebrating the county’s heritage and values. The LAS works hard to encourage and put together educational events to educate the county about food, farming and the countryside by bringing together communities to help our future generations, as education and bringing together communities will help future generations.
A recent event held for our Members was the exclusive preview is Lincolnshire Food & Gift, hosted on the 29th & 30th November 2025. Members were invited to the exclusive Preview Event, held on 28th November, in which they experienced a first look at the exhibitors and traders before the event officially opened to the public. Members can expect a free drink and a complimentary food sample, and the event is a great opportunity to network and create new connections.
Membership starts at £75 annually, depending on the type of Membership purchased. Some of the benefits you can expect with an LAS Membership are free admission to LAS events such as The Lincolnshire Show, discount trade offerings, discounts for local businesses and opportunities to join the Council of the LAS and other committees of interest and many more. Becoming a Member can help your business or you as an individual due to the vast number of events and opportunities the LAS holds.

I usually play for just a few minutes during breaks, and eggy car always turns into a longer session because I want to beat my previous record.
Playing Traffic Jam 3D is a blast since it's a racing game where players have to steer multiple automobiles at once through increasingly difficult levels while dodging obstacles and avoiding collisions.
What Being a Member of LAS Really Means
Becoming a member of the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society is about much more than attending events. It’s about being part of a community that genuinely supports local agriculture, rural businesses, education, and future generations. I love how the Society continues to honor its agricultural roots while embracing innovation, networking, and professional development. It’s great to see an organization creating opportunities for farmers, young professionals, and local communities all under one roof. The combination of tradition, learning, and collaboration makes membership feel like a real investment in the future of the countryside.
Hi everyone, I enjoy small DIY home projects and recently spent a rainy weekend searching for ideas to improve privacy in my kitchen in the UK. During that search I landed on window film, and I ended up reading through several product sections longer than I planned. I liked that there were different styles for different rooms instead of one generic option. I chose a simple frosted film, and now I can keep the blinds open without feeling like the neighbours are watching me cook pasta badly.
When the Lincolnshire Show membership perks hit my inbox, I jumped in for the networking and countryside events—last year it helped me connect with suppliers while juggling heavy farm equipment shipments. That's when transload freight from PNW Warehousing saved the day, smoothly shifting containers from rail to truck near Seattle ports so my gear arrived on time without the usual headaches. Their team handled the heavy coils and oversized loads like pros, cutting costs and stress. Now my business runs smoother, and I actually enjoy those member previews with a cold drink in hand. Worth every penny for anyone in ag dealing with logistics chaos.
