Apply for a Carer’s ticket

Guests who require a Carer for the 140th Lincolnshire Show are entitled to one Carer/Personal Assistant ticket at no extra charge. 

Please use this form to apply for a free Carer ticket. A member of the Showground team will need to verify each form and, if approved, and e-ticket will be issued within 5 working days. 
 

Please note this form will ask you for a SeeTicket reference. Please purchase any non-carer tickets online before completing this form. 

If you are a Member of the Society, and receive tickets under your membership, please state your membership number below.

Applications open until 10am, Tuesday 10th June 2025. Applications after this time will not be considered. 
 

Should you wish not to complete this form or pass the deadline, on the day carer tickets will be available from any of the pay booths. You will still need to provide the below evidence and purchase all non-career tickets on the day. 


Ticket outlets will not be able to issue any free carer tickets.

Documentation Required

One of these is required

  • Entitlement to Disability Living Allowance for children under 16 or DLA/Personal Independent Payments (PIP) for those aged 16-64, either in the form of a letter stating that the benefit has been awarded, or the actual Allowance book

  • Attendance Allowance or Carer's Allowance letter of award

  • Incapacity Benefit books, or a letter notifying the recipient that the benefit has been awarded Incapacity Benefit or Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)

  • A valid Blue Badge

  • In the case of visual impairment, a registration card known as the BD8 or a Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI)

  • A local authority registration document which is local to the attraction where it is being submitted

  • A recognised Assistance Dog ID Card

  • Credibility’s Access Card with +1 symbol

  • A personal letter from GP, community nurse or social worker

  • War pensions mobility allowance

About the event

Join the Lincoln Half Marathon starting and finishing at the Lincolnshire Showground.


The event covers a scenic 13.1-mile route starting at the Lincolnshire Showground and make your way into the heart of the city. You will pass a few of Lincoln's iconic landmarks such as the historic Lincoln Castle and magnificent Lincoln Cathedral.


The event is for all abilities and volunteers and supporters will be there to support you to the finish line.


You don't want to miss it!
