News from the Lincolnshire Showground

The recent heavy flooding in Lincolnshire has meant equine charity, Bransby Horses, has had to cancel all their Christmas events and activities, but they are urgently appealing to people to continue visiting the site.

With only a week to go until this year’s Lincolnshire Food and Gift Fair, the Lincolnshire Showground is busy decking its halls and getting in the Christmas spirit, ready to welcome more than 8,000 visitors through its doors.

At this year’s Lincolnshire Food and Gift Fair we are asking visitors to bring along toys and gifts to donate to the Christmas Sack Appeal by Bridge Church Lincoln.

Foodies will be able to get their fill of Lincolnshire’s best produce, from specially crafted rum - from the county’s largest and most unique rum distillery - to New York-inspired bakes at this year’s Lincolnshire Food and Gift Fair on Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December.
