Meet the exhibitor: Lincolnshire Brewing Company 20 Nov

Contributed by Lincolnshire Brewing Company

Lincolnshire Brewing Company is an award-winning company based in Langworth, Lincolnshire. Established in 2014 by husband and wife team, they have enjoyed brewing hand-crafted ales and supplying them to the city of Lincoln and its surrounding villages for a number of years. Their most popular and well-known beer is Cheeky Imp, a red ale brewed especially for Lincoln City Football Club, with each brew raising money for their Youth Academy.

Lincolnshire Brewing Company also partners with the Lincolnshire Showground to supply their very own house-branded beer, Epic Ale, which is available to buy from bars at their events all year round.

A huge expansion in 2016 saw the business move from its Lincoln premises to The George at Langworth, allowing them the brewing capacity to distribute nationally.

Among the products making their debut at this year's Lincolnshire Food & GIft Fair is Lincolnshire Brewing Company's Lincoln Lager, a hand-crafted lager brewed in the spring of 2017. Their first lager was created after customers had been asking for a local hand-crafted lager in their bottled beer shop, The Crafty Bottle, and there being no keg lagers made in Lincolnshire - making Lincoln Lager the only Lincolnshire keg so far!

After selling out on bars at shows and festivals throughout the summer, Lincoln Lager is now available to buy in bottles. The lager is a 5% hand-crafted lager, easy drinking with a fresh, crisp taste.

Lincolnshire Brewing Company were also shortlisted as a finalist at this year's Select Lincolnshire awards for the Wholesaler of the Year award - and had the privilege of serving a selection of their beers from the bar at the award ceremony. The award-winning ale, 1215, was served on draught throughout the evening and had sold out by the end of the night. People were also keen to take a sample home with them, with all bottled beers selling out too!

In addition to Lincoln Lager, the business is now releasing its brand new mint porter, Mouthwash, and a milk chocolate stout, Lactose Intolerance, to form part of the 'Hangover Survival Kit' gift pack, alongside the long-standing 'Medicinal Purposes' which was a sell-out at the 2016 Lincolnshire Food & GIft Fair.

You can visit Lincolnshire Brewing Company's stand at the 2017 Lincolnshire Food & Gift Fair on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 December. To find out more or to buy your tickets, just click here.
