We’re looking for an experienced Facilities and Maintenance Lead to join our small but active team!

About Us

The Lincolnshire Showground, home to the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, hosts a variety of events aimed at promoting Food, Farming, the Countryside and Sustainability. From educational activities to our flagship Lincolnshire Show, we offer diverse and dynamic experiences.

The Role

As the Facilities and Maintenance Lead, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the Showground is both compliant and beautifully maintained. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will lead on facilities and maintenance to maintain the site’s appearance, safety and functionality at the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Compliance and Safety: Overseeing all health and safety regulations to ensure compliance, managing audits and ensuring all facilities are safe, well maintained and ready for the next event.

  • Site Maintenance: Leading hands-on maintenance of the buildings and car parks, managing routine upkeep and responding proactively to any issues that arise.

  • Event Support: Working alongside various departments to support the setup and smooth running of events, which may include some evening and weekend work.

  • Team Leadership: Supervising and training team members to maintain high standards and working alongside the Head of Operations on strategic CAPEX projects, as well as the site’s maintenance plan.

What We Are Looking For

  • A motivated, hands-on leader with at least 3 years’ experience in facilities maintenance.

  • Excellent practical skills and a proactive, can do attitude.

  • Strong multitasking abilities, time management skills, and an eye for detail to ensure a clean, safe, and presentable site.

  • Experience collaborating across departments, with a focus on customer service and efficient task completion.

  • Flexibility to work occasional unsociable hours for events, as needed.

  • Desirable is having a type of trade.
