
The Lincolnshire Show is only just over for another year but there’s already plenty to look forward to enjoying at the Lincolnshire Showground during the rest of 2012 – not least this weekend’s All About Gardening show.

Fullers Forestry
Fullers Forestry and Landscaping was recently awarded Best in Show at the Lincolnshire Show for its garden design with Ed Fuller taking home the Ransome Cup. Fullers’ services are divided into Forestry, Landscaping and Garden Maintenance and will tailor his work exactly around your requirements. You’ll be able to find Ed and the Fullers Forestry Team in the Landscape and Design area where they will be happy to discuss plans and details to help your own garden vision come to life. The British Isles Rose Society
The British Isles Rose Society (BIRS) will be holding their first National Rose Show which will be attracting many of the very best national exhibitors. Fred and Mary Barns, exhibitors from the Lake District, will be joining many of their exhibition rivals including Tony and Alice Bracegirdle from Ramsbottom who have been the national champions for the last 16 years. The Chairman of BIRS, David Wilce said “We will have a superb display of the very finest exhibits of our national flower – the rose. We have also catered for the less experienced exhibitors in what we have called the ‘Tomorrows Champion’ classes”. In addition there will be a magnificent display of Sweet Peas staged by some of the best regional exhibitors.
Fruit Trees and Herb Plants
There’s nothing more satisfying then growing your own produce and enjoying flavours from the garden. Whether you enjoy growing at your allotment, in your greenhouse or on the windowsill, you can transform your garden into a bounty of delicious food and make trips to the supermarket a thing of the past. Cordelia and Lyn are the brains behind the company who met studying at the University of Lincoln. Both have a passion for garden design, whilst Lyn admits “What excites me about garden design is the variety”, colleague Cordelia agrees she loves spending time in her own garden, so “gets a kick out of helping people to get the same feeling in their own garden”. Hidden amongst the thousands of plants and flowers, the Lincolnshire Garden Show also holds it’s Festival of Food and Drink, a grand section of the show dedicated to local and international flavours where you are sure to find something that tantalises your taste buds. One of the exhibitors which is local to the area is Marron ‘Made for you Wines’, the company specialises in delicious alcoholic beverages where much of the brewing, bottling and labelling is done by hand to ensure a high quality product.
