The EPIC Centre – Environment, People, Innovation and Contemplation

The EPIC Centre demonstrates world-class standards in the use of environmentally-friendly building materials and operating programmes. This Lincolnshire event venue offers visitors the opportunity to experience the best in corporate and social functions against a backdrop of total environmental sensitivity.

The modern and flexible structure incorporates three Halls on the ground floor, with a total area of 1,836m². Full-size roller-shutter doors to the East and West allow vehicular access, making these high-ceiling, light-filled areas ideal for exhibitions and product launches as well as a multitude of other event formats including large-scale music festivals and elaborate balls. Acoustic partitions can be used to create smaller, more intimate spaces, or removed to offer one large area for events on a grand scale.

The upper floor offers three adjoining Suites, with the flexibility to cater for between 2 and 200 people, supported by three additional rooms for smaller events or syndicate space. All offer the backdrop of spectacular views over the Showground and lead onto a sheltered terrace on which guests can enjoy fresh air and even open-air dining.

In terms of the technical specification, electricity and Cat-6 cabling can be taken to almost any section of the exhibition floor via floor channels. We offer integrated audio visual equipment; each of the Halls and Suites includes a ceiling mounted data-projector, projection surface or screen and facilities to project sound via a range of microphones.

The EPIC Centre houses comprehensive catering facilities to meet the most demanding requirements.

Exhibition Hall

An additional feature which enhances Lincolnshire Events Centre’s unique flexibility as an event venue is a stand-alone Exhibition Hall. Offering more than 1,300m² of pillar-free space, this building includes an integrated lobby area, lavatories, disabled and baby changing facilities. Large roller-shutter doors at each end of the hall permit vehicle access and the installation of large sets and equipment.

Commentary box

Looking for a unique corporate meeting venue? The Commentary Box can be used as a meeting venue or the base for a business event, accommodating up to 30 people when seated theatre style. This two-storey building incorporates an open plan upper floor (please note: this is accessible by stairs only). On the ground floor there is a further small room leading on to a patio area, a small kitchen (with no fitted appliances) and a lavatory. Although primarily used as a Commentary Box for large events, it offers event organisers something just that little bit different.
