Bus Service Confirmed for 125th Lincolnshire Show

Stagecoach Lincolnshire have recently confirmed that they are running a shuttle service between Lincoln City Bus Station and the Lincolnshire Showground on Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th June 2009, the dates of the much anticipated 125th Lincolnshire Show.


The first bus leaves Lincoln City Bus Station at 8.30am, and then buses will run approximately every fifteen minutes in both directions throughout the day. The last bus from the Showground is 6.30pm.

Buses will travel via Wigford Way, Newland, Yarborough Road and Burton Road out of the city, returning via the reverse route, and passengers can board at any bus stop along the way by clearly signalling the driver.

The return bus fares are; Adults £3.60, Children £1.80. A family ticket, for up to 2 Adults and 3 Children is priced at £9.50. Please note that regrettably under the revised terms of the Lincolnshire Concessionary Fare Scheme senior citizen and disabled people’s bus passes are not valid on this service.
