Jane Haigh Country Art: Lincolnshire Artist 12 Nov

Jane has lived in Lincolnshire for over 30 years and loves the rural side of life. She grew up surrounded by ponies, pet sheep, and cattle. She was often found sitting amongst them, enjoying watching their characters, a sketchbook in hand. Much of her art depicts animals; often using bright colours. She tries to capture their character and believes that if she can get their eyes right, then the rest usually follows. Her main medium is acrylics but also paints in oils.

Jane has some of her work produced as greetings cards – her son helps with the editing and they are printed locally. The cards are available in shops around Lincolnshire and online. This year she has expanded her range to include a selection of Christmas cards which will be available at the Lincolnshire Food & Gift Fair.

Many of her paintings are sold as limited edition prints which are printed on archival paper using Giclée inks.

Jane also paints commissions, so feel free to ask about pet portraits. Gift vouchers are also available too.
