Guests

Members of the Society receive a Guest Badge enabling them to introduce a guest into the Members' areas. This badge will NOT admit to the Showground. Additional Guest Badges may be purchased by Vice Presidents and Members. These are obtainable in advance at a cost of £20 per badge and on Show days at a cost of £25 per badge from the Secretary's Office. These badges are not transferable.

Dress Code

The Lincolnshire Show is a reputable event where smart dress is requested and very much encouraged. The minimum acceptable standard in the pavilions and enclosure is smart casual attire. Gentlemen are asked to wear smart trousers and collared shirt either with a tie or open neck. Casual shorts, t-shirts or sportswear are not considered to be acceptable. Gentlemen using the Vice Presidents' facilities are expected to wear a tie.

Admission may be refused to any Member or Guest who is not suitably dressed - the Steward's decision is final. If any Member has a query, please contact the Society's Office where a member of staff will be happy to assist.

Long Service Awards

The Society is proud to be able to recognise the long service of employees of Members of the Society. The awards in 2010 were presented on the Vice Presidents' lawn and were kindly sponsored by Harold Woolgar Insurance.  If you have an agricultural employee who has worked for the same firm for 40 or more years then please contact Karen Malpass at kmalpass@lincs-events.co.uk to find out if they are eligible for a Long Service medal or bar.
