Is parking available at the showground on show days?
We have extensive free car parking facilities on show days.
Is there disabled parking at the Lincolnshire Show?
Yes. Visitors displaying a disabled badge in their vehicle will be directed to a designated disabled parking area close to the inner perimeter of the showground. Visit our disabled facilities page for more information.
I would like to be an exhibitor. How much does it cost?
The cost will be determined by the category your stand will be in and the size of stand space you require. To talk to our trade administrator (Margaret) about having a stand at the show call 01522 522900 or email trade@lincolnshireshowground.co.uk
What size trade site can I have?
The smallest general trade stands have a 3m frontage and are 9m deep. Additional frontage is in multiples of 3m.
The minimum size of an agricultural area stand is 6m frontage and 9m deep; thereafter depths available are 18m, 27m or 36m.
Can you send me an application form?
To apply for a stand you should write into us with brief company details, a list of other shows you have attended, a photo of your stand or typical products and any relevant leaflets, brochures or other publicity material. We will then get in touch with you to discuss your application.
When do the trade applications have to be in?
The closing date for trade applications is 18th January 2008. Applications made after this date cannot be guaranteed, though we will try our best to accommodate everyone who wants to exhibit at the show.
Do you provide covered space?
Marquees are provided for the Flower Show, the Food Court and The Mews; elsewhere on the showground you will have to provide your own marquee if you need cover.
Can I use a generator?
Unfortunately the use of generators on the site is strictly prohibited. However electric power points are available; costs depend on the supply required.
When will I know where my site will be?
Exhibitors who have had stands in the past are given first refusal on their site. Once all previous exhibitors have been allocated their site the remaining space available is offered to new exhibitors; this usually happens around March.
Can I get a bus to the Lincolnshire Show from Lincoln?
Yes. Stagecoach Lincolnshire provide a bus service using Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel, which helps to reduce exhaust emissions. The first bus leaves Lincoln City Bus Station at 8.30am and then buses will run approximately every fifteen minutes in both directions throughout the day. The last bus leaves the Lincolnshire Showground at 6.30pm. Buses will travel via Wigford Way, Newland, Yarborough Road and Burton Road out of the city, returning via the reverse route. Passengers can board at any bus stop along the way by clearly signalling the driver.
The return bus fares are:
Adult £3.50
Child £1.75
Senior Citizen Concessionary Pass Holder FREE
Family Ticket (2 adults and 3 children) £9

Not at all – the Lincolnshire Show is open to everyone, but membership of the society carries special benefits.
What are the benefits of membership?
Members receive a two-day pass to the show. They also receive a Pavilion Guest Badge allowing a guest to join them in the Members' Pavilion, the Members' Lawn and the Members' facilities in the Epic Centre.
Do children require a member’s badge to enter the members’ facilities?
Provided the child is with an adult who is a member then a badge is not required, but if the child wishes to enter members’ facilities unattended then a separate member’s badge is needed.

Did you know?
The first ever Lincolnshire Show was held on the Cowpaddle south of Lincoln in 1869.
70,000 visitors and 30,000 animals make a lot of mess - the clean-up operation after the annual Lincolnshire Show lasts a whole week and requires 56 large skips!
The 2001 Lincolnshire Show was cancelled because of the foot and mouth outbreak. Until then the only years since 1869 when the Lincolnshire Show did not take place was during the two world wars or when the Royal Agricultural Show was taking place nearby.
