Conferences

It goes without saying that a professional approach and top-class facilities are required when planning a business conference. Flexibility is our watchword: we can host a seminar for ten delegates or a conference for 1,000. We can also provide lunches or other refreshment to suit your requirements, and if you need extra equipment or anything out of the ordinary all you have to do is ask.

Concerts

With its wide open spaces, excellent infrastructure and extensive car parking facilities the showground is an ideal venue for outdoor concerts. The showground already hosts midsummer music events and other concerts and is perfect even for open-air concerts attracting attendances up to 40,000.

Trade or antique fairs

The 240' by 60' main exhibition hall is ideal for all types of trade and antique fairs, and if you need even more space for an outdoor event the showground itself is at your disposal. Or why not combine the two for maximum flexibility? The exhibition hall features reception area and cloakroom facilities, toilets including disabled and baby-changing facilities, a meeting area with bar facilities and ample parking for cars and coaches.

Agricultural events

The Lincolnshire Showground is synonymous with the hugely popular Lincolnshire Show, the county’s foremost social and agricultural gathering, so if you’re seeking a venue for your farming event you need look no further. The venue is easily large enough to showcase the latest agricultural machinery and equipment, and even the Multi-Purpose Building, which is ideal for smaller indoor farming displays, is large enough to house a combine harvester!

Private dinner dances

We have an excellent reputation as a high-quality venue for parties, dinners and formal balls which can be held in the main exhibition hall. It can be elegantly dressed to provide sumptuous ballroom or kept simple for a barn dance or ceilidh. Whatever type of event you’re staging we can give you the help, support and advice you need.

Caravan rallies

Even though we’re only a stone’s throw from the city of Lincoln the Lincolnshire Showground is a rural facility in a picturesque setting – one of the prettiest showgrounds in the country. The woods and parkland are the perfect place for a caravan rally. On site are six toilet blocks, some with showers, and Elsan points and hook-up electricity boxes are available. Meanwhile the exhibition hall can be used to host all manner of social functions that are part and parcel of a caravan rally.

Equine events

Our rural setting provides the ideal backdrop for any type of equine event, and the facilities are perfectly tailored for the purpose. The showground already hosts the British Riding Club National Championships and the Irish Draught Horse Breed Championships. The showground has four horse rings, a Fibretrack collecting ring, a purpose-built horse walk and stable accommodation for 132 horses with room for up to 750 more rented stable blocks. On such a spacious site there’s ample room for separate areas for dressage and cross-country.

Orienteering events

For corporate events or an outdoor experience for youngsters the showground has its own orienteering course which encourages teamwork and initiative. The course is flexible and can be tailored to suit either adults or children.
