Disabled Facilities and Info

Disabled Facilities

The Lincolnshire Showground strives to make everyone feel welcome, and as a modern 21st-century facility we try to make sure that we are as accessible as we can be for visitors with disabilities.

Parking

To ensure that disabled visitors can park as close as possible to the showground visitors whose vehicles display a disabled permit badge when they arrive at the Lincolnshire Show will be directed to one of two designated areas close to the inner perimeter of the showground.

Unfortunately it is not possible to reserve such spaces but you will normally find that spaces are available.

Accessibility

Access to the main site from the disabled parking spaces is just a short distance across cut grass, and inside the showground itself a network of level tarmac roads makes for easy access to all the facilities.

The entire showground is an even site which allows for excellent access even on the grassed avenues.

Scooters

A mobility scooter loan service is also provided by Fair Mobility; you can book scooters in advance by calling 01949 845 189 or by visiting www.fair-mobility.org.uk

Stagecoach

Stagecoach Lincolnshire is running a shuttle service between Lincoln City Bus Station and the showground on Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th June 2008.

Toilet facilities

There are plenty of disabled toilet facilities situated around the showground, all of which are highlighted on the showground map.

The members’ facilities on the showground also offer disabled access and toilet facilities for the disabled.

Should you have any individual requirements we will do our best to help. Please don’t hesitate to call us on 01522 522900 / 524240 with any questions or requests.
