Lincolnshire Show 24th & 25th June 2009

The 124th Lincolnshire Show was a great success, the introduction of the Epic Centre to the showground created a buzz amongst the visitors with the Delta Simons Sustainable Living Exhibition informing the public of ways to reduce their carbon footprint. Generating a great deal of interest the foo-go Food Court was the place to tickle your tastes buds during the Show, TV Chef Rachel Green and foo-go's own Ellie Wade were demonstrating fantastic local recipes in the theatre kitchen. The Flower Show and Garden Centre were filled with green fingered enthusiasts looking for inspiration for the projects ahead. Nobby the Norfolk Horn stole the Show in the Countryside Area with his groovy moves in the Dancing Sheep Show, not to be out done the Tamworth pigs from Woodside Falconry took part in the annual pig race in the Countryside Ring. The crowds flocked to the Clydesdale Bank Main Ring to watch the traditional Grand Parade of Prize Winning Livestock, followed by the daring stunts of the Royal Signals, White Helmets.

The 125th Anniversary Lincolnshire Show promises to build on the success of this year.

We regret to say that dogs are not permitted on the Showground during the Lincolnshire Show, exceptions are made for assistance dogs.
