Lincolnshire Horse Trials

Set in the beautiful surrondings on the Lincolnshire Showground, this event regulary attracts 700 competitors, including some of the most respected and successful in the sport. With the addition of equestian trade stands, it makes for an entertaining day out for equestrian fans and those who simply enjoy a day in the countryside. Gates open 8.30am £5 per car

Lincolnshire Agricultural Society Spring Lecture

Entitled "Is Science the Key to Farming's Future?" our lectures always attract a large audience and induce debate on current affairs affecting the agricultural industry. This year's key note speaker is Professor Crute, Chief Scientist at the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) and Nick Ward, an arable farmer from Reepham, will also be elightening us on his recently completed Nuffield Farming scholarship looking at 'Arable input efficiency' in combineable crops. Discussions continue afterwards over refreshments and a hot buffet. Free to LAS members, non-members £10. All welcome. 01522 585522
