Lincolnshire Show goes on tour! 23 May

Tractors, plenty of local produce and even giant tortoises will be setting up in the city to give shoppers the chance to experience some of the exciting attractions that are on offer at the Lincolnshire Show held on 22 and 23 June.

Returning for the third year running, this year's Show Comes to Town will be situated in Cornhill on Saturday 28 May.

Jayne Southall, CEO at the Lincolnshire Showground, said: "This is a great opportunity for shoppers to get a taste of all that the popular Lincolnshire Show has to offer, to pick up their advanced tickets at a discounted price and also enjoy meeting with the Show team.

"We attract thousands of people to the Show each year but still want to show those who don't attend or haven't for a while what's on offer on a smaller scale.

"The Lincolnshire Show is focused around agriculture but it has developed into an educational, entertaining and jam-packed day perfect for families, schools and couples. No matter what age you are the Show offers entertainment with so much variety."

Visitors will be able to indulge in fresh ice cream from Lincolnshire Wolds Dairy Ice Cream and taste Redhill Farm Free Range Pork at the event on Saturday.

Open from 10am until 3pm, visitors will be able to get involved in interactive activities and sit on a tractor as well as meeting farmyard friends.

The event is free and advanced Show tickets will be on sale, at an advanced price of £19 for adults, £6 for children aged 5 - 16 and £40 for a family. Find out more on www.lincolnshireshow.co.uk
